| This semi-acoustic model is smaller
in size than the model 335 (ES-335). The body is made of solid board, not laminated, and has a hand-carved arch. The body is of regular box-structure; being assembled the top, sides and back, not of hollow structure made out of thick board. The center block of Honduran mahogany inside the body extends to the behind of the tailpiece and is attached only to the top through the carved brace. This model, made of the same material as that of the Arch Top, features a unique structure ranging between the model 335 and 330, and produces ample sound. The front pickup enables a low and middle sound deeper and thicker, and the rear pickup produces a wild and treble sound. The options of a wood binding, headstock inlay, 12F inlay, and a pick guard and a mounting ring of ebony are request basis. |
